Report of the Ad-Hoc Call Centre Committee

The Committee met at the UTE National Office on November 7, 2012 to prepare for its meeting with management. In attendance: Debbie Ferguson, Luc Tailleur, Kent MacDonald and Pamela Abbott, Chairperson. Brother Jamie vanSydenborgh was absent due to other meetings.

Joint Consultation Committee Meeting

The members of the Ad Hoc Committee met with representatives of the CRA on follow up of topics discussed at the June 19, 2012 meeting.

  2. Training
  3. National Retention/Term Rehires
  4. *NQALP
  5. Standardized time between calls

Good discussions were held with the employer on the above topics.  The draft minutes of this meeting are currently with translation.

It is important that all concerns that Call Centres are having should be addressed at their local UMC.  If you are unsure, please contact your RVP, or a member of the Ad Hoc Call Centre Committee.
