The committee met twice during this quarter by Teams to discuss our investments and the feasibility of a move from the PSAC building, 233 Gilmour St, Ottawa.
The committee agreed to move our investments to a one-year GIC’s. This was due to fact that the investment return was a lower return than investing into GIC’s at this time. The committee will continue to monitor our investments to ensure we are getting the best dollar value we can on our returns.
The committee agreed that a move to our own location was a good financial decision, and we will be moving forward January 1,2024 to a new location with the approval of the National President.
RECOMMENDATION # 1
Be it resolved that the following over expenditure be approved.
