The members of the UTE Executive Committee, composed of Brothers Gary Esslinger, Regional Vice-President, Prairie’s region, Adam Jackson, 2nd Vice-President, Doug Gaetz, 1st Vice-President, and myself, met on November 2nd via the MS Teams platform.
At this meeting, Executive Committee members voted unanimously in favor of the following resolution:
APPOINTMENT OF SENIOR LABOR RELATIONS OFFICER
m/s Gary Esslinger / Doug Gaetz
BE IT RESOLVED that an offer of employment for a period of 12 months effective December 4, 2023, until November 29, 2024, be made to Wael Afifi; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that upon conclusion of this term employment, this employment may be converted to full-time indeterminate status, subject to the mutual agreement of the employer, The Union of Taxation Employees, and the employee, Wael Afifi.
