The National Heath & Safety Policy Committee (NHSPC) next meeting will be held February 28,2023. Minutes will be shared when they become available.
On February 23,2023 I was informed that David Walsh will be leaving his position as Assistant Director with the National OHS Program in order to pursue an acting director opportunity within the CRA. In his several years with the OHS team, David has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to working collaboratively with the UTE. When the pandemic struck, he implemented weekly and ad-hoc meetings in order to provide us with the timeliest information on OHS risks and preventive measures in a changing workplace. We wish to recognize his many contributions to providing a healthy and safe work environment for our members and all CRA employees, especially during the pandemic. The committee wishes him every success in his new role.
We were also informed that Jaime Robinson will be stepping into the role as acting AD with the National OHS Program. The committee has worked with Jaime for several years in her various roles within the OHS team, including in her prior role as acting AD. We have every confidence that we will maintain a strong and continued collaboration with the OHS team under Jamie.
