UTE/PSAC Telephone Town Hall on Bargaining

This is to let you know that PSAC and the Union of Taxation Employees will be hosting a telephone town hall on the current round of negotiations with the Canada Revenue Agency.  

When:​

Tuesday, June 2, 2015 – English eastern telephone town hall  (includes members in Ontario, Quebec and the Atlantic) 
                                          English western telephone town hall (includes members from Manitoba to British Columbia)

​​​Wednesday, June 3, 2015 – French language call (includes members from Ontario, Quebec, and the Atlantic)

Speakers on the June 2 calls: PSAC National President Robyn Benson; UTE National President Bob Campbell and PSAC Negotiator Morgan Gay.

Speakers on the June 3 call: UTE First National Vice-President Marc Brière; bargaining team member Denis Lalancette and PSAC Negotiator Morgan Gay. 

Members will receive a recorded message the day before the call to let them know of the date and time of the call in their province.  It will also tell them how to participate. Members do not need to reply to the message to advise that they will be participating. They will receive another message automatically on the evening of the call. All they have to do is stay on the line to join the telephone town hall.

Members should contact their Local representatives to obtain the phone number to call and PIN number if they miss the message on the evening of the call or don’t receive it within 10 minutes of the beginning of the time their call is to start.

The start time of each call is as follows:

On June 2:

Ontario, Quebec – 6:30 p.m.
New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, PEI – 7:30 p.m.
Newfoundland and Labrador – 8:00 p.m.
Manitoba – 8:00 p.m.
Saskatchewan, Alberta – 7:00 p.m.
British Columbia – 6:00 p.m.

On June 3:

Ontario, Quebec – 6:30 p.m.
New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, PEI – 7:30 p.m.
Newfoundland and Labrador – 8:00 p.m.
