UTE postpones its National Mental Health Conference as potential strike looms

Hello Sisters, Brothers and Friends,

It is with great regret that we had to make the difficult decision to postpone the UTE National Mental Health Conference originally scheduled to take place April 21-23, 2023 in Ottawa.

We believe that due to the uncertainty of the outcome of the current negotiations between us and the Canada Revenue Agency and a potential strike in the coming weeks, it would not be appropriate to hold this conference at this time.

UTE will be rescheduling the National Mental Health Conference this fall as our union recognizes the great benefit that this conference will bring, and we want to give it the attention it deserves.

In solidarity,
