PSAC takes first step to start bargaining with CRA

On July 3, PSAC started the process of negotiating a new collective agreement with the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA).  The union sent a notice to the Agency that we want to bargain changes to the current agreement that ends on October 31, 2012.

Talks are underway between the parties about dates to meet and initiate negotiations.  When the first meeting takes place, the union and the employer will exchange and present their proposed changes to the agreement.

Regular updates will be issued once bargaining begins as well as information about the union’s and the Agency’s demands.

These updates also will be available on the PSAC and the Union of Taxation Employees’ web sites.
