Joint Consultation Committee on the Directive on Virtual Work Arrangements

Information on the Joint Consultation Committee – joint message

Further to the Letter of Agreement concluded during the last round of bargaining, the Union of Taxation Employees (UTE) and the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) have now established the Joint Consultation Committee on the Directive on Virtual Work Arrangements and have agreed to convene its first meeting on Thursday, September 7, 2023. Both parties have decided that the Committee will be comprised of four representatives from UTE and four from CRA.

UTE’s representatives will be as follows:

  • Shane O’Brien, Senior Labour Relations Officer
  • Daniel Camara, Executive Assistant to the National President
  • Adam Jackson, Second National Vice-President
  • Kimberley Koch, Regional Vice-President, Pacific Region

CRA’s representatives will be as follows:

  • Natalie Waples, Director General, Workplace Relations and Compensation Directorate
  • Chantal Tourigny, Director, Montreal Tax Services Office
  • Jean-Claude Azar, Director General, Administration Directorate
  • A fourth member will be confirmed shortly

The Committee will provide periodic updates as the work progresses. In the interim, the current Directive on Virtual Work Arrangements continues to remain in effect until the Committee completes its review.
