We are currently in the process of establishing the EO Committee for the next three-year term; at the September Presidents’ Conference, Jackie Robertson was elected to the position of Presidents’ Representative, I (Kimberley Koch) was appointed to the position of committee Chair, Eddy Aristil was appointed to Co-Chair, and Kristina Cook was appointed as our committee Technical Advisor. We met October 31st and November 14th. A call letter for the 5 Equity Representative positions went out Thursday November 16th with a deadline of December 8th. We will meet again December 12th to review the applications and determine the representatives to be considered by Council.
October 24th and 25th I attended the two days in person NEEDIC meeting in Ottawa, it was a good meeting with very informative updates from the Employer regarding the following topics:
- Policy update
- Data update
- Branch’s updates
- Regional updates
- Network updates
