- SELECTION PROCESS FOR THE POSITION OF SENIOR LABOUR RELATIONS OFFICER (SLRO)
As mentioned in my last President's Report, we have re-posted the selection process for the position of Senior Labour Relations Officer.
I am pleased to confirm that, following the selection process, Brother Wael Afifi was the successful candidate. Wael has worked for the PSAC for several years as a Senior Grievance and Adjudication Officer. He will officially join our team on Monday, December 4, 2023.
I wish him the warmest of welcomes to our organization and the best of success in his new job.
- OTHER SELECTION PROCESSES
Following the recent departure and absence of some employees, we have had to review our hiring priorities. First, we need to fill positions in the Finance Department and for an Administrative Assistant and for a Labour Relations Officer. Following this, we will be launching selection processes for an Office Manager position, as well as for a Communications and Media Relations Officer position.
