- ELECTRONIC APPLICATION FOR MEMBERSHIP FORM
As mentioned in my previous report, we have offered contracts of less than four (4) months to two UTE members who are familiar with the Unionware platform to help us continue to reduce the number of outstanding files. The successful individuals were Sister Marie-Ève Gélinas of the Shawinigan Local 10005 and Brother Mike Chartrand of the Ottawa Headquarters Local 70000.
It gives me great pleasure to inform you that we have made remarkable progress regarding the membership form requests received via the electronic application. With the help of two new term employees and the continued good work of our existing administrative support staff, we are now up to date with these applications. We are also transferring members between Locals where the evidence clearly establishes that this is the appropriate action to take. We will continue this process until we are also completely up to date in this area. We will then focus on providing the required assistance to those Locals who still have a large number of Rand members on their list.
I would like to thank all our administrative support staff for their excellent work and dedication to our members. Special thanks to Marie-Ève Gélinas and Mike Chartrand for their invaluable help in keeping us up to date on these important files for both members and Locals. I am extremely grateful to them.
