The committee met in Ottawa to participate at the EAP National Business Meeting and to work on the organization of the next EAP National Conference of November 2010.
1) EAP National Business Meeting
We met with the Agency where we discussed the following topics: Results of the EAP Consultations Group; Handling of Suicidal Calls Workshops; LAC basic course; the UTE Summary Report of the May 2009 - EAP Questionnaire Part I - Local Advisory Committee - 2007-2008 and the EAP statistics and confidentiality.
2) Organization of the EAP National Conference – November 2010
We addressed different issues related to the organization of the Conference. We agreed to place a priority to find speakers and to canvass some organization during the Health Work and Wellness Conference 2009 that we will be attending on September 30th to October 3rd, 2009.
We also reviewed documentation to establish a budget.
