Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Committee
REPORT OF THE EMPLOYEE ASSISTANCE PROGRAM
Shawn Bergeron Item 11(d)
The meeting scheduled with the Employer in November has been postponed.
We have received the EAP Annual Report for 2003 – 2004. It indicates
an increase of 7% in reported cases over the previous year. Family and
marital issues are still the most reported concerns. There were 4300 cases
reported by the external EAP contractors in comparison to1100 reported
by the EAP coordinator-counsellors.
The Committee would like to congratulate Brother Hector Walters on his election
to the committee.
