Report of the Equal Opportunities (EO) Committee

The UTE Equal Opportunities Committee has been meeting monthly to organize and develop the three (3) Regional Equal Opportunities Conferences. The first two UTE Regional Equal Opportunities Conference’s were held for Pacific, Prairie and Rocky Mountains Regions, May 3,4,5 for the Greater Toronto, Southwestern Ontario, Northern and Eastern Ontario Regions May 17,18,19. Both Conferences were held virtually and well attended.

The UTE Regional Equal Opportunities Conference for the Atlantic, National Capital, Montreal and Quebec Regions will be held virtually, June 14,15,16

The Committee met with the Employer Tuesday April 12, 2022, via TEAMS.

• the Employment Systems Review
• Pay Equity Legislation
• Accessibility Plan Update
• Employment Equity Act Task Force Review
• Agency Event Calendar
