The committee dealt with the following items ; CAS campaign, Quebec's proposal to implement a single tax return in the province of Quebec to be administered by Revenu-Québec and the campaign to bring back the counter service at CRA.

We developed a campaign to promote the use of the CAS system to pay CRA employees directly, instead of the Phoenix pay system.

We prepared instructions for the RVP’s for discussion with their locals regarding the CAS Campaign.

We prepared talking points for the National President for consideration in a press release by the PSAC regarding the Quebec proposal to implement a single tax return in the province of Quebec to be administered by Revenu-Québec

We discuss and agreed that the people that should be targeted in the campaign to bring back counter service to CRA, are the tax payer. Further discussion on this campaign will resume in our next meeting.
