The referred meetings will be held at the Delta Hotel at 101 Lyon Street, Ottawa as follows:
- Council Meeting:
Arrive: March 16
Meet: March 17 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Panorama – Penthouse Level
Meet: March 18 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Panorama – Penthouse Level
Meet: March 22 9 a.m. to noon Ballroom B&C - Ground Floor
Departure: March 22 after noon
Council Members, please send your reports, motions, agenda items, and supporting documentation by no later than Monday, March 2ndto Sister Sylvie Bastien at firstname.lastname@example.org.
- Presidents’ Conference:
Arrive: March 18
Meet: March 19 Regional Caucus – a.m. RVP to advise location
1:15 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Ballroom B&C- Ground Floor
Meet: March 20 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Meet: March 21 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Departure: March 22
Hospitality Suite: Pinnacle – Penthouse Level
Local Presidents, please send your agenda items, *motions and supporting documentation no later than Friday, February 7th to Sister Bastien.
A short summary of your items is required.
An advance cheque will be mailed to you on a separate cover. All other monies owed will be paid at the conference if an expense claim is submitted prior to 11:45 a.m. Friday, March 20th. For claims received after that deadline, a cheque will follow in the mail.
Room reservations have been made at the Delta Hotel. For any changes with your reservations, please contact Sister Bastien at (613) 235-6704.
Locals who wish to bring observer(s) to the Presidents’ Conference are required to email the name(s) directly to Sister Bastien by Friday, February 7th. Reservation requests received after this date will be subject to hotel space availability.
You are reminded that the Presidents’ Conference ends at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. All delegates are required to stay until the official adjournment. Any early departures that are not approved by the President or Vice-President responsible for finance may result in the loss of per diem.
* Locals are requested to send their motion(s) in advance to ensure translation and distribution in each participant’s conference kit.
** Sister Bastien will reply to each reservation request received by email to ensure that all observers are registered and that accommodation is made accordingly. Please contact the Sister if you do not receive a reply.
