David Lanthier was elected to the position of Regional Vice-President of the National Capital Region in July 2021 and re-elected in August 2023. He is responsible for the largest region in the country, representing over 5500 members who work at Headquarters, Ottawa East, Ottawa Centre, the Ottawa Tax Services Office, the Ottawa Technology Centre, the Ottawa International Tax Services Office, the Connaught Building and Albert Street.
