In Attendance: Wayne Little, Jérôme Martel, Gesine Campbell
The Honours and Awards Committee met December 5, 2016 to determine the member and student awarded to go to Cameroon with Major Ed Smith and the International Children’s Awareness (ICA). The Committee received one member application and three student applications.
The selected member is Nancy McCarrel, Ottawa Local 70030 and the selected student is Zak Pham son of Edward Pham, Vancouver Local 20027.
The committee gave a verbal report to Executive Council in December, 2016.
The committee also met February 1st, 2017. In Attendance: Wayne Little, Jérôme Martel, Gesine Campbell. The committee discussed and reviewed two submissions received for awards and made the following recommendations.
