The next National Health & Safety Policy Committee meeting has been postponed from September to October 6, 2016 due to request of management and agreed to by the union.
Delegates for the PSAC National Health & Safety Conference have been selected and recommended to the National UTE President. These names have been forward to the PSAC and we are waiting for confirmation. Once confirmation has been confirmed by the PSAC, the Chair UTE H&S Committee will send an email to all locals advising them of the selected delegates. No date has been given as to when confirmation will be received from PSAC.
UTE was given twenty-seven (27) seats to the conference and we had one hundred and ten (111) applicants.
