Since our last meeting the position for Aboriginal People Representative has become vacant and we hope to have a replacement representative in the near future.
The committee would like to thank Sister Bertamini for her dedicated work during her time on the committee.
1. Welcome Remarks
Sister Gardiner welcomed the members.
2. Equal Opportunities National Conference
The members review the progression of the work done for the conference.
- Workshops – for the five (5) equity group
The committee members reviewed the workshop presentations and provided feedback.
To assist the committee members during the workshop, a RVP will be assigned to work with each of the equity group representatives.

Lyson will be working on the descriptions to be approved by the committee members.

- Caucus
It was decided to replace the caucuses with a presentation in the main plenary room. Each member will talk about the experience and how members can be involved. Also information/ressources will be provided.
A powerpoint presentation will be prepared by Lyson.

- Vignettes
Vignettes have been choosen for Women, GLBT and Persons with Disability. The committee members are responsible to forward the transcript to Lyson and Sylvie.
- Group Activity
The building of bird house was tested and determined not to be feasible. Consequently, the committee members reviewed other options and opted for one activity which will need to be tested as well.

Scent free leafleat will be on a color paper (pink) and added to the folder.
Unscented and hypoalergique soap for the room.

Hospitality Room
The hospitality room will be opened from 5pm to 11pm,Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
No alcohol will be served on Thursday and Friday nights.
A schedule will be prepared to ensure there is a committee member and/or in the hospitality room at all time.
