The Committee met at the UTE National Office on November 9th, 2015.
IN ATTENDANCE: Marc Brière – Chair and 1st National Vice-President, Doug Gaetz – Co-Chair and RVP-Atlantic, Gary Esslinger – Co-Chair and RVP-Prairies, David Webster – Presidents’ Representative and Vice-President Kingston - Local 00011, Stephanie Wolff – Technical Advisor.
The Committee reviewed and approved the minutes of the May 11-12, 2015 meeting and the minutes of the September 21, 2015 conference call meeting.
The Committee also discussed and reviewed the July 2015 Financial Statements and Investments, and the over expenditures as of July 31st, 2015.
The Committee met with Howard Greenberg, UTE’s Investment Advisor from CIBC Wood Gundy, to discuss and review our investment portfolio.
The Committee also had a general discussion regarding the funding for UTE’s 50th Anniversary.
Finally, the Committee had a lengthy discussion concerning the Stipend and Residence Expense that are paid to the Officers of the Executive Council (excluding the President and the 1st Vice-President).
