Minutes of the Political Action Committee

The committee dealt with the following items:

1. The Committee created a radio advertisement to be used in 6 areas identified as priority areas in which results had been close in the last election and where ads would be most valuable in reach. These areas were: Vancouver, Regina, Winnipeg, Greater Toronto, Quebec City and Moncton. The Committee then pursued researching the most effective radio stations in each of these areas to broadcast the ad.  This was determined to be for the most part, Talk Radio AM stations and 4 times per day.

2. The Committee refined the postcards that will be created using the assistance and expertise of a member in the Calgary Call Centre Local. The Committee researched the possibility and cost of using a mailing service or Canada Post to mail these postcards out to households in the above listed areas.
