      1. Bob welcomed the members of the Committee.
          
2. Equal Opportunities Regional Conferences

1. In preparation for the impending Equal Opportunities Regional Conferences, the Committee reviewed the outstanding items.
2. The Committee discussed employment equity headlines and how the latter will be displayed during the Conferences.
3. The Committee finalized the sliding scale workshops – group and plenary. The Committee also finalized the facilitators’ guidelines.
4. Assignment of duties to each member was finalized.
5. The agenda items were discussed and finalized.
6. The Conferences’ objectives were amended and are as follows:
   
   1. Inspire participants to evaluate their activism and;
   2. Encourage participants to become more active and;
   3. Provide participants with the tools required to empower action.
7. An update on securing guest speakers was provided.
8. The Committee agreed that fruit baskets would be purchased for each Conference (Friday and Saturday mornings).
