At the request of the National President the Committee met from January 12-14 in Ottawa to prepare a special edition newsletter on Bargaining. This newsletter was mailed to the membership so they would receive it at the beginning of the week for the next bargaining meeting held with CRA, the first week of February 2015.
The Committee is scheduled to meet in early April to work on the next newsletter which will be scheduled for an early May 2015 distribution rather than the normal April release. With the unavailability of a member of the committee until April and with the concurrence of the National President this has been approved. As a special edition had just been released and with bargaining heating up this delay is likely a wise decision in the event we need to prepare another communique on bargaining.
