The members of the UTE Executive Committee, as constituted on July 9, 2026, met virtually via MS Teams. At that time, the Committee consisted of Marc Brière, National President, Jérôme Martel, Regional Vice-President for Québec, Doug Gaetz, 1st National Vice-President, and Adam Jackson, 2nd National Vice-President.
During this meeting, the members of the Executive Committee unanimously approved the following resolution:
MOTION
WEB/COMMUNICATIONS OFFICER - OFFER OF TERM EMPLOYMENT
M/S D. Gaetz / A. Jackson
BE IT RESOLVED THAT an offer of term employment for a period of twelve (12) months as a Web/Communications Officer with the Union of Taxation Employees, effective July 13, 2026, and ending July 9, 2027, be made to Candace Knights.
As this meeting was held prior to the 2026 UTE Triennial Convention elections, the positions noted for the members of the UTE Executive Committee reflect those held at the time of the meeting.
