Review of the draft budget submitted by UTE Finance
The committee reviewed the draft budget prepared by finance. Given the significant reduction in the membership, the increase in operating costs since the last budget cycle, and that the committee is not empowered to make cost reductions decisions, the committee will be recommending a dues increase to be discussed and debated at the appropriate bodies.

Review investments with Howard Greenberg CIBC Wood Gundy
The committee heard investment proposals from Howard Greenberg. The committee decided to re-invest the majority of the October 2025 maturing GIC, back into a new 1 year GIC alone with a minor investment in the ETF -Silver

Review Finance Book
Due to time constraints, the committee decided to have finance send them a digital copy of the UTE Finance book so they could, at their own time, review the book, and follow up with Doug & Liam on any issues.
