Review investments
The committee review the investment performance with Howard Greenberg, CIBC Wood Gundy. The committee expressed its unhappiness with the amount of fees that UTE pays on its investments given that there is no transactional movement. The committee switched from percentage based commission to transactional based commission, thus saving $50k+ per year.

The committee reviewed the old salaries of the three elected officers and made a recommendation to Executive Council.

Air Canada Comfort for RVP & Cttee's
The committee discussed the advantages and disadvantages of providing the option of Air Canada’s “Comfort” fare to the executive council and all UTE committee members

New Regional Claim Form
The committee discussed a new regional claim in Excel that is dynamic, auto calculating, bilingual, and includes a section for determining the budget. To be used by everyone so forms are standardised, like claims. Time permitting, committee member Jerome Martel will work with Liam to see if something more effective and efficient can be developed.
