First off, I would like to thank my committee for all the work.
We had initially scheduled a workshop for March 2025 president’s conference but due to unforeseen circumstances, we will give an update on PSAC campaigns as well as spending limitations during an electoral campaign.
I will be attending PSAC Board of directors to hear the updates on the campaigns firsthand (David will attend too in person).
I will also meet with Michelle Girash and the National President to discuss political action on the week of March 10, 2025. (more to come on that subject)
Much remains to be done, but our first objective is to make sure we encourage our members to get out and vote during the next federal election that should be called once the Liberal leadership race is concluded on March 9, 2025.
Rumour is the election should be called shortly after.
