RE: UTE Regional Equal Opportunities Conference – Central
The Conference for the Northern/Eastern Ontario, South Western Ontario, and Greater Toronto Regions will be held in hybrid format.

DATES: April 11 – 13, 2025
TIMES: Thursday April 10, 2025
5:00 - 7:00 p.m. EST (On-Site Registration)
Friday April 11, 2025
9:00 – 5:00 p.m. EST
Saturday April 12, 2025
9:00 – 5:00 p.m. EST
Sunday April 13, 2025
9:00 – 12:00 p.m. EST

The deadline for registration is February 28, 2025, at 23:59 EST. Locals must also approve the registrations by the deadline.
All registrations or approvals received after 23:59 EST, February 28, 2025, will be denied.
THEME: Equity For All
The Conference objectives are:
- Equity Never Ends
This objective will be achieved through plenary sessions and workshops. This will be an opportunity for you to network with other equity group members and others.
FUNDING:
- UTE National will fund two (2) members per Local.
- Funding will consist of:
- Loss of salary;
- Family/pet care allowance, if required;
- Travel grant for Airfare & Hotel, Per Diem.
- Additional members beyond the 2 would be fully funded by Locals.
PARTICIPANTS:
- The conference is intended for UTE members who have limited or no knowledge / experience of equity issues. We strongly encourage Locals to fund other interested participants.
