The Staffing Committee met virtually with management on January 8th, 2024, and unfortunately, I was unable to attend as I was not feeling well that day. This meeting is referred to as SPA (Staffing Projects and Activities) and meets minimum twice a year.
Since the last council report, we are continuing to review Job descriptions as they get sent to us. In my December 2023 council report, I mentioned that the committee was going to get more training on job description review, but unfortunately the planned training of November 22, 2023, didn’t happen and is now scheduled and confirmed for Monday March 25th and Wednesday March 27th, 2024.
Lastly, this committee is looking at requesting a meeting to discuss agenda items going forward. As previously mentioned, would like some direction from Council as to how we go about to re-establishing local liaison resource/contact persons and seeking information from locals as to what current issues are out in the field.
