The National Health and Safety Conference has now concluded and from a review of the evaluation, it appears the conference was a huge success. The participants felt that the subjects discussed at the conference were relevant and will help them back in their locals dealing with H&S matters.
The committee met after the conference to review the evaluations and made recommendations and suggestions on how to improve future H&S conferences, as well as suggestions on ways to improve all conferences. This information has been shared with the National President and the Chair will be meeting with the National President at a future date to review the recommendations and suggestions.
I would like to thank Council, National Office Staff, committee members and the participants for making this conference the success it was.
Next meeting of the NHSPC meeting will be December 13, 2012 and minutes will be posted on UTE web site when completed.
