The honours and awards committee met in Ottawa November 4 and 5 2003.

The committee’s recommendation for the year 2004 topic is:

How do you see youth’s responsibility in the organized labor?

The committee reviewed the scholarship changes that the Executive Council approved at the September Council Meeting and have made the following recommendations:

Recommendation #1

Remove “With reference to the financial need, please explain your circumstance, if desire.

Change to: “Financial need – if desired, please provide details”

Recommendation #2

The committee reviewed Regulation 20 inclusively and has recommended a complete rewrite with the following changes as attached.
