REPORT OF THE HONOURS & AWARDS COMMITTEE

SEPTEMBER 2004

The Honours and Award Committee met July 5-7, 2004 in Ottawa. The purpose
of the meeting was to review the scholarship applications.

The committee was pleased that we received 57 applications in total and
all Regions had more then one submission.

The committee established a grid in order for us to determine the successful
candidates.

The results are as follows;

UTE National $2500

UTE Regional $1000

Ashley Riengette Northern & Eastern Ontario

The committee agreed that pictures of the national winners would be published
in the UTE newsletter along with all the names of the regional winners.

As well, the UTE website would publish all pictures if possible.
