REPORT OF THE HONOURS & AWARDS COMMITTEE

JUNE 2005

Although the committee has not met, a discussion was done in respect of Executive
Council comments at our March meeting. The committee has come up with the following
recommendations.

Recommendation #1

All scholarship essays will be made available at the National Office for council
members to read. Location will be determined after the office renovations.

Recommendation #2

Successful Candidates essays for the Regional and National Scholarship awards
will be given to the communications committee. It will be up to the Communications
Committee to determine what they would like to put in the newsletter.

Recommendation #3

All local executives will be encouraged to provide a picture of the presentation
of the award given. These pictures will be put on the UTE website.

Recommendation #4

Pictures of the National winners will be published in the UTE Newsletter.
