Terry Dupuis Item 11(g)

The Committee met from January 10th to January 12th 2011. We discussed several items and have been developing biographies for our awards. We expect that they will all be ready to input into the award they are named for by June 2011.

The Committee has the following items to recommend. All recommendations will be nominated by Terry Dupuis, and seconded by Denis Lalancette of the Honour and Awards Committee.

Recommendation #1

Be it resolved that …to come later………. be awarded the Life Membership Award.

Recommendation #2

Be it resolved that …. to come later………………..receive the Godfrey Côté Award.

Recommendation #3

Be it resolved that … to come later…. receive the Union of Taxation Humanitarian Award.

Recommendation #4

Be it resolved that the following be added to Regulation 24.6(3). The Union of Taxation Employees Humanitarian Award only be awarded once to the same recipient in a lifetime.

Recommendation #5

Be it resolved that the deadline for submissions to the UTE Humanitarian Award be changed from December 7th, to December 15th.
