The PAC, through Louise Laporte PSAC Communications, has arranged for
a presentation on Lobbying by the Canadian Labour Congress to be given
during the March 2006 Presidents Conference. The PAC will also be providing
an update on the next phase of our Expenditure Review Committee (ERC) Campaign.
The community newspaper campaign trial will be taking place starting the
week of April 1st. The committee; in consultation with Louise Laporte,
choose one community per regional to purchase an ad with a community newspaper,
the approximate cost between $1000-1500. One of the main criteria was which

during the committees presentation to the March 2006 Presidents Conference.

be addressed with the Locals during the March 2006 Presidents Conference.
The Committee has established a list of, for lack of a better word “Important” MP’s.
This list is made up of:
- The four Party Leaders.
- The Revenue Minister and the three party critics.
- The Labour Minister and the three party critics.
- The Treasury Board Minister and the three party critics.
- The Finance Minister and the three party critics.
The committee has sent all of the above first contact letters.
