The committee met in Ottawa the week of October 3 – 7, 2022 to prepare new UTE new member handbook as requested by the National President.
A big thank you to Sister Susan Duncan for research she did in order to provide the committee with a variety of examples other components’ new member handbooks. This provided the committee with a wealth of information on format and content which allowed us to develop a much more professional and informative product for our new members. Once complete it will be available online and can certainly be used by locals to share with existing members as well.
I would like to thank the members of the committee, Brother Cosimo Crupi and Sister Melanee Jessup for their collaboration in the preparation of the new member handbook. Sister Duncan is currently working to include graphics and pictures which the committee believes will make this into a very professional looking publication.
Sister Kim Koch was unable to attend the meeting as she had other commitments during the same period.
The committee also met the week of November 14th to 18th to prepare the December issue of Union News. This turned out to be a very diverse edition with articles on a variety of subjects with a total of 12 pages of content.
I would like to thank the members of the committee, Brother Cosimo Crupi, Sister Melanee Jessup, Sister Kim Koch for their hard work and contribution which included each of them providing articles for this edition of the Union News.
As always, a thank you Sister Duncan and Brother Camara for their advice and assistance.
