The next meeting of the National Heath & Safety Policy Committee (NHSPC) will be March 22,2022. Minutes will be shared when they become available.
The Committee continues to hold discussions with the Assistant Director of the CRA National OHS Program on a weekly basis to stay abreast of the latest developments in health and safety at the CRA, especially those relating to COVID-19 preventive measures at worksites as well as remote work and training.
The National Health & Safety Conference was held virtually from November 30, 2021, to December 3, 2021.
Although it would have been preferable to hold the conference in person, the conference went well despite the fact it was virtual. From the comments I received personally and the evaluations, I am happy to report that the participants were happy with the conference and obtained information to help them in their roles sitting on health and safety committees.
I once again want to recognize the committee for their hard work preparing this conference as well as the UTE staff working in the background preparing the information. It takes many hands to prepare a conference and I am grateful to all that contributed to the success of this conference.
I also would like to thank all guest speakers, presenters and most of all the participants for their questions, comments and participation. Thank you!!!!
