Marc Brière
The Executive Committee members met twice via videoconference, respectively on March 31 and April 13.
At the March 31, 2021 meeting, the members of the UTE Executive Committee unanimously adopted the following resolution:
Be it resolved that Shirin Amiri be appointed determinately to the position of Labour Relations Officer II – Band 11; and
Be it further resolved that should the Labour Relations Officer who is currently on personal needs leave subsequently tender his resignation, Shirin Amiri be offered an indeterminate appointment.
With respect to the meeting held on April 13, the members of the UTE Executive Committee unanimously adopted the following resolution:
Be it resolved that Sister Carmen Ménard Gagné be appointed as the Administrative Assistant to the UTE National President, Brother Marc Brière.
It should be noted that both resolutions were proposed by the 1st Vice President, Doug Gaetz, and seconded by the 2nd Vice President, Adam Jackson.
