The next National Health Safety Policy Committee (NHSPC) will be held December 15, 2020. Since the start of the pandemic we have been holding the meetings by conference calls, I have requested that the December meeting be held virtually by Teams platform and the employer has agreed to this request.
We continue to hold “OSH chats” twice a week to discuss and address issues and concerns related to the pandemic.
The Workplace Violence working group, which I am a member of, continue to hold regular meetings using Teams to discuss the changes to workplace violence policy and procedures due to Bill C-65 which is expected to come into force January 1, 2021.
Please continue to be safe and practicing physical distancing and other preventative measures during the pandemic.
