A daily conference call has taken place starting March 17, 2020 to present, with myself and my technical advisor, Mathieu Juneau, and David Walsh, Assistant Director, CRA National OSH Section, dealing with the Covid-19 pandemic and the related issues from this pandemic.
We have since changed these conference calls to twice a week, with ad-hoc meetings taking place when required.
Our next meeting for the National Health & Safety Policy Committee (NHSPC) will be held September 29, 2020 by conference call. It is expected that the Commissioner will be joining the call to thank NHSPC members for their work during the pandemic.
We are starting to return to “normal” NHSPC meetings, with more agenda items being added other than on the topic of Covid-19. However, Covid-19 will still be a principal topic of conversation on the agenda.
Minutes from the June 2020 NHSPC meeting should be out shortly.
