During a video conference held on April 20, 2020, the members of the UTE Executive Committee adopted unanimously the following resolution:
REGULATION NO. 23 - MARGUERITE STONEHOUSE MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIPS (LABOUR COLLEGE OF CANADA SCHOLARSHIP)
Whereas based on UTE National President’s recommendation, CLC has accepted Sister Melissa Arsenault as a successful recipient for the 2020-2021 CLC Labour College program;
Whereas UTE Regulation No. 23 requires the UTE Executive Committee to award the scholarships by taking into account the recommendations made by the Labour College of Canada Selection Committee;
Whereas Sister Melissa Arsenault is a very active member of the Executive of her Local; 00042 Sudbury.
Be it resolved that the UTE Executive Committee approves the nomination of Sister Melissa Arsenault as a successful recipient for the 2020-2021 CLC Labour College program and grants her with the Marguerite Stonehouse Memorial Scholarship as per UTE Regulation No. 23.
