The committee continued to review work descriptions as usual. I want to thank the members of my committee who are doing this very important work.
Also, Shane and I have continued to meet with management on several topics related to the staffing redesign. Management has hired several dozen employees to work on staffing redesign and supplementary budgets have been allocated.
Management has implemented several pilot projects among those presented at a previous Presidents’ Conference.
We have participated in several meetings on important topics such as recourses, the definition of arbitrary treatment, etc.
We continue to do everything we can to secure gains for our members and to have a fair, equitable and transparent staffing system.
However, it is important to remember that management has the final say on staffing...
