The committee met the week of November 3 – 8 to prepare the next issue.
This was the first meeting without the president’s representative as Nate Angus Jackman had recently resigned from the union and had taken a position in labour relations. It is hopeful that whoever is elected to the committee in March as the same passion for the role of president’s representative.
The committee appreciated the article submitted on behalf of the equal opportunities committee and hopes that this becomes a fairly regular occurrence.
Dates for the next committee meeting have not yet been set however it is likely that this will be before the election for a new president’s representative. The committee again reminds all members of Executive Council to consider submissions for inclusion. Once dates have been set and as we get closer to the meeting dates everyone will again be reminded of the deadlines for submission of articles.
