Cosimo Crupi
The Honours and Awards Committee met on Wednesday May 2nd, 2018 while at the PSAC National Convention in Toronto. Present were Cosimo Crupi Chair, Ken Bye Co-chair, Gary Esslinger Co-chair and Gesine Campbell President’s Representative.
The Committee reviewed one life membership application as well as two Godfroy Cote applications. The committee is submitting to Executive Council as follows: one recommendation for the Godfroy Cote award (document to be provided at council) and noted below as Recommendation #1, and one recommendation for the Al Lough award (document to be provided at council) noted as Recommendation #2.
The Committee will be planning it’s next meeting during the week of July 16-20, 2018 for the purposes of reviewing all scholarship applications received as the deadline is June 15th, 2018.
Recommendation #1
Be it resolved that Executive Council support the committee recommendation under UTE Regulation 24.5 Award of Merit (The Godfroy Cote Award) to Brother xxxxx from the xxxxx Local xxxxx.
Be it further resolved that this award be ready for presentation at the September 2018 President’s Conference.
