Update regarding the UTE/PSAC-CRA Public Interest Commission report

Hello Sisters and Brothers,

UTE National has been receiving a lot of questions about the UTE/PSAC-CRA Public Interest Commission (PIC) report.

Therefore, we want to provide you with an update.

As previously mentioned, the report was supposed to be released at the end of March but due to the COVID-19 pandemic, which is certainly one of the biggest tragedies of our lifetime, every aspect of our lives, both personal and professional, has been drastically turned upside down.

The government is quite obviously consumed by the current events and the incredible and noble work you are doing proves it.

This fact, however, did not push the PIC report to the side and we have been following up constantly while recognizing the seriousness of the pandemic.

It is our understanding that the issuance of this non-binding report is imminent and should be in our hands in the next few weeks after it goes through the Labour Relations Board’s legal department.

As soon as we receive the report, we will proceed without delay with its analysis and provide you with our reactions.

Rest assured that we will ensure that your outstanding work and service to Canadians is duly recognized and will not be forgotten.

Thank you for the great work you do each and every day and thank you for your solidarity.

Sincerely,
