Update on GTA Service Modernization

Message from the Commissioner, Deputy Commissioner and National Union Representatives – Update on the Consultation Framework for employees involved in the GTA service modernization

We are pleased to share with you that on September 7, 2017 we met to discuss and establish a consultation approach and framework regarding the development of a new organizational model within the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) Tax Services Offices.

To this end, a Regional GTA Consultation Working Group has been established to collect employee input and feedback on the design and subsequent implementation approach of a new organizational model for the GTA. The working group held its first meeting in the afternoon of September 7, 2017. They will meet on a regular basis throughout this process, taking into consideration all feedback received from employees. In the coming days, the GTA Service Modernization InfoZone page will be re-launched to provide timely information on the consultation process and to gather employee feedback.

We are committed to working together on this initiative and keeping each other and employees informed throughout this process.
