Tomorrow, Wednesday, July 15, we invite all UTE members to wear black—whether at the workplace, in person, or during virtual meetings.
On the third Wednesday of every month, this simple action becomes a powerful demonstration of our solidarity. By wearing black, each member makes their voice heard and sends a clear message to the employer: we stand united and fully support our bargaining team, and all those other federal public service members whose bargaining teams are also in negotiations.
The strength of this action depends on your participation. The more of us who wear black, the more visible our message will be—and the harder it will be to ignore. Together, we show that UTE members stand behind their bargaining team and are determined to secure a fair and equitable collective bargaining agreement that respects their priorities.
Tomorrow, let’s proudly wear black and encourage our colleagues to do the same. Every participant counts. Every member strengthens our collective voice.
