Sisters and Brothers,
It is with great sadness that we learned about the OC Transpo bus accident that occurred in Ottawa on Friday January 11, 2019. This tragedy has claimed the lives of three people and has injured many more.
At this point in time, we do not know if any of our members were directly affected by these tragic events.
Our members have access to the CRA’s Employee Assistance Program (EAP). Such a tragic incident affects us all. Anyone requiring assistance should be encouraged to contact the EAP.
On behalf of all of us at the Union of Taxation Employees, I would like to offer our most sincere condolences to all those of were affected.
Our thoughts and prayers are with all the victims, their families and all those who are touched by this tragedy.
