May Day 2026: Solidarity Is How We Win

May Day 2026 International Workers’ Day

On May Day, we honour the generations of workers who stood together to win the rights and protections many now rely on: fair hours, safer workplaces, weekends, parental leave, and the dignity of collective bargaining.

For UTE members, this day is also a reminder that progress has never been handed to workers. It has always been won through solidarity, determination, and collective action.

As CRA workers, our members deliver essential public services to Canadians every day. We continue to demand the respect, fair wages, safe and healthy workplaces, and working conditions that reflect the value of that service.

This May Day, UTE stands proudly with workers across Canada and around the world. Our strength comes from our unity, and when workers stand together, we all win.
